Professor Zou Bingsuo is a doctoral supervisor. He obtained his Ph.D. in Science from Jilin University in 1991. From 1994 to 2005, he worked at the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He then worked at Hunan University from 2005 to 2009 and at Beijing Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2019, where he established and served as the director of the Beijing Key Laboratory of Nano-Photonics and Ultra-Precision Optoelectronic Systems. Since 2019, he has been working at Guangxi University and currently serves as the Dean of the School of Resources, Environment, and Materials. From 1996 to 1999, Professor Zou conducted research abroad, including at the National University of Singapore and the Georgia Institute of Technology, focusing on nanotechnology. His primary research areas include nanoscale functional materials and devices, nano-photonics and optoelectronic devices, and magnetic semiconductors with future optoelectronic applications. He has led 973 subprojects and key projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, undertaken five general projects, and been the principal investigator for major equipment projects funded by the Ministry of Education. His research achievements have earned him the Second Prize of the National Natural Science Award, the First Prize of the Hunan Provincial Natural Science Award, and the Second Prize of the Beijing Municipal Natural Science Award.

Ephraim Suhir is on the faculty of the Portland State University, Portland, OR, USA, and Bordeaux Univ., France. He is also CEO of a Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) ERS Co. in Los Altos, CA, USA, is Foreign Full Member of the National Academy of Engineering, Ukraine (he was born in that country); Life Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the Society of Optical Engineers (SPIE), and the International Microelectronics and Packaging Society (IMAPS); Fellow of the American Physical Society (APS), the Institute of Physics (IoP), UK, and the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE); and Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). Ephraim has authored 500+ publications, presented numerous plenary, keynote, invited and contributed talks and taught continued education courses worldwide. He received many professional awards, including 1996 Bell Labs. Distinguished Member of Technical Staff (DMTS) Award (for developing effective methods for predicting the reliability of complex structures used in AT&T and Lucent Technologies products), and 2004 ASME Worcester Read Warner Medal (for outstanding contributions to the permanent literature of engineering and laying the foundation of a new discipline “Structural Analysis of Electronic Systems”). He is the third “Russian American”, after S. Timoshenko and I. Sikorsky, who received this prestigious award. Yang Yue received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering and optics from Nankai University, China, in 2004 and 2007, respectively. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California, USA, in 2012. He is currently a Professor with the School of Information and Communications Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China. He is the founder and current PI of Intelligent Photonic Application Technology Laboratory (iPatLab). Dr. Yue’s current research interest is intelligent photonics, including optical communications, optical perception, and optical chip. He has published ~300 journal papers (including Science) and conference proceedings with >12,000 citations, one book, seven edited books, two book chapters, >70 issued or pending patents, >200 invited presentations (including 1 tutorial, >30 plenary and >80 keynote talks). Dr. Yue is a Fellow of SPIE, a Senior Member of IEEE and Optica. He is also among the Top 2% Scientists List Worldwide by Stanford University. He is an Associate Editor for IEEE Access and Frontiers in Physics, Editor Board Member for four other scientific journals, Guest Editor for >10 journal special issues. He also served as Chair or Committee Member for >100 international conferences, Reviewer for >70 prestigious journals.

Dr. Amlan K. Roy is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Sciences at IISER Kolkata. He earned his Ph.D. in Theoretical Chemistry from Panjab University in 1998. His research primarily focuses on electronic structure theory, density functional theory (DFT), information theory in chemistry, and confined quantum systems. Dr. Roy has held several academic and research positions across prestigious institutions worldwide, including postdoctoral and visiting roles at the University of Kansas, University of California Los Angeles, University of New Brunswick, CSIR New Delhi, and JNCASR Bangalore. He joined IISER Kolkata in 2008 and has since contributed extensively to theoretical and computational chemistry. His recent publications cover topics such as high-pressure effects in atoms and molecules, charge-transfer excitations, and developments in DFT methods. Dr. Roy continues to make significant contributions to the field through both teaching and research.

Professor Datuk Dr Harith Ahmad FASc obtained his in BSc in Physics with First Class Honours from the University of Malaya in 1979. Subsequently, he obtained his MSc from the University of Wales in 1980, followed by his PhD in 1983 from the same institution. Upon returning to Malaysia in 1983, he became a member of the academic staff of UM, and since then has led the university s research into the area of photonics. He is currently a Distinguished Professor, and is also the director of the Photonics Research Centre of the University of Malaya, a Higher Education Centre of Excellence (HiCoE) under the purview of the Ministry of Education, Malaysia (MOE). His substantial contributions in the area of photonics has been acknowledged with multiple awards and recognitions, including as a Fellow of Akademi Sains Malaysia and recipient of the Malaysia-Toray Science Foundation Award, Merdeka Award for Scholastic Achievement and ASEAN Outstanding Scientist and Technology Award. He is very active as both a researcher and an academician, with numerous ISI ranked research publications to his name, as well as supervising numerous undergraduate and postgraduate students in photonics.

Dick has led in the design and implementation of capital market transaction using ESOPs and 401k plans assets to established broad based worker and labor friendly ownership. Prior to forming Valuemetrics, from 1978 to 1981, Dick was Vice President of Operations at Sugar Supply Corporation, a closely held cash commodity firm. From 1972 to 1978, he was a Manager with TMI Systems Corporation, a startup Citicorp venture capital funded firm. Additionally, Dick was an Engineer with Boeing Company from 1969 to 1972. He received his BS from Purdue University and his MS from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also serves on the board of directors of HAC, Inc.; the parent company of Homeland Stores, a 100% ESOP owned grocery store operator. Professor Vladimir G. Chigrinov is Professor of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology since 1999. He is an Expert in Flat Panel Technology in Russia, recognized by the World Technology Evaluation Centre, 1994, and SID Fellow since 2008. He is an author of 6 books, 31 reviews and book chapters, about 333 journal papers, more than 718 Conference presentations, and 121 patents and patent applications including 50 US patents in the field of liquid crystals since 1974. He got Excellent Research Award of HKUST School of Engineering in 2012. He obtained Gold Medal and The Best Award in the Invention & Innovation Awards 2014 held at the Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE) 2014, which was hosted in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 20-22 Feb 2014. Dr. Shi Baosen, male, is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor. He was selected as a National Distinguished Young Talent in 2015 and was included in the New Century Excellent Talent Program under the Ministry of Education in 2007. He graduated from the Department of Physics at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 1998 with a Ph.D., under the supervision of Academician Guo Guangcan. He remained at USTC to teach after graduation, where he established the Nonlinear Optics Laboratory with the support of the 211 Project and subsequently founded the Quantum Information Laboratory. His team was the first in China to produce pulsed entangled photon pairs. From April 2001 to November 2004, he was a JST researcher at NEC Fundamental Research Laboratories in Japan, engaging in theoretical and experimental research on quantum optics, nonlinear optics, and quantum information. He was also invited for short-term visits to Japan twice in 2005. He has published over 70 papers in renowned academic journals such as Nature Photonics, Nature Communications, PRL, Sci. Rep., PRA, Opt. Lett., Opt. Express, New J. Phys., APL, and JOSA-B, with over 900 SCI citations and over 820 independent citations. He has contributed chapters to books published by Springer (Topics in Applied Physics, 102) and Nova (Horizons in World Physics, Volume 272). He holds one utility model invention patent.

Zhang Daming, male, born in June 1970 , PhD, professor, doctoral supervisor. He received a bachelor's degree in semiconductor physics from Jilin University in July 1993, a master 's degree in microelectronics and solid-state electronics in July 1996, and a doctorate in microelectronics and solid-state electronics in July 2000. From September 2000 to July 2002 , he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. From September 2007 to August 2008, he worked as a senior visiting researcher at KAIST in South Korea . After graduating with a master's degree in July 1996, he stayed at Jilin University to teach. In September 1998 , he was promoted to lecturer. In September 2001 , he was promoted to associate professor. In September 2003 , he was promoted to the first-level teaching position of Jilin University. In 2004 , he was promoted to professor again. In September 2005 , he was promoted to doctoral supervisor. From December 2004 to June 2017 , he served as the vice dean of the School of Electronic Science and Engineering of Jilin University. From August 2017 to date , he has served as the dean of Jilin City Research Institute of Jilin University. Since he started working, he has been committed to the research of planar integrated optical circuit devices and their integration technology. He has carried out a lot of original and basic work in the establishment of basic principles of planar integrated optical circuit devices (optical waveguide amplifiers, electro-optic switches / modulators, arrayed waveguide grating wavelength division multiplexers, thermo-optic switches, optical delay lines, etc.) with independent intellectual property rights, device structure design and optimization, device preparation process, reliability and packaging detection technology, etc. He presided over the National Key R&D Program, the New Century Excellent Talents Support Program of the Ministry of Education, the "863" Program, the "973" Program, the National Natural Science Foundation, the Jilin Province Outstanding Youth Fund Program, the Jilin Provincial Science and Technology Department Young and Middle-aged Science and Technology Innovation Leading Talents and Teams, and the Jilin Provincial Education Department "Jilin Province University Innovation Team" Construction Project; established the Jilin Province Optical Communication Polymer Waveguide Device Engineering Laboratory and the Jilin University Integrated Optical Path Laboratory. He has published more than 400 academic papers, including more than 350 papers included in SCI , with more than 3,000 citations . He has made more than 30 invited reports at academic conferences , obtained 32 national invention patents, and co-authored 1 monograph. He has trained 108 graduate students , including 33 with doctoral degrees , 75 with master's degrees , and 15 with master's degrees . There are currently 18 doctoral and master's students .
